I Wrote this poem recently, and I wasn't very depressed when I wrote it. However I was kind of lonely at the time, hence the whole "show yourself" thing. As before, any criticism is welcome and appreciated.
The Tui is a New Zealand Native Bird, Often called a parson bird because the white tuft of feathers at its throat remind people of a parson's collar. The Kowhai tree (pronounces ko-fi) is a native tree with long, yellow flowers.
