Born in Masterton. New Zealand, Lorna writes from the wide and wonderful experiences of her life. She came to admire and respect the art of weaving words into poetry through the rich teaching of her professors at Auckland University, especially Allen Curnow. She has written poetry on and off for the rest of her life, often describing the joy of her love of God and gratefulness for the hope she has in his saving love. But she has also written about moments in life, war, her travels overseas and her adjustment to getting old.
