I put the hole in the wall... With my fist. I lost my cool. So much smarter now... I met someone new after years alone and am reminiscing about how I felt when my last relationship ended... Fear has not ever sprung me forward in life before so I suppose it is time to take the plunge again... I dont want to die alone and I have found that spark again. Feels refreshing, I am so nervous haha. 

I'm incredibly new to poetry so keep that in mind while you read

This poem comes out of a memory from not so long ago. The last line is adapted from a part of a song called 'Basic Space' by The xx (I recommend you listen), and I had this line in mind while writing as it really resonated with me (and essentially inspired the whole thing).

going through this relationship I realized pieces of me became lost from this world. the care-free, easy-going, confident pieces I wish everyday would comeback to me.
