The battles we go through ourselves, and through others, to reach equal ground, understanding, but also something much deeper than anything each have known. 

A lot of things left unsaid, both during and after a relationship ends... but also the journey...

This was, in fact, written by me (but as an excerpt from a poetry collection in a short story that I am currently writing. META AS SHIT).

This poem is something I wrote a while ago but never published. I had a group of "good" friends, who began to make me feel left out, not cared about, and forgotten. It's short and simple- if they don't care to make an effort to be my friend any longer, then I will do the same.

A rather short one for today, but I felt it was a good time to post it. In this poem, when I thought it up, I wasn't thinking of any particular girl. Just that I want to find one and be happy with her. So in general it's just a "feel good" or "aaaw" type of poem. Criticism of any kind is welcome and appreciated.
