"Morning Lilac"
Awakened this morning by the lovely fragrance
Of Lilacs teasing my sences...
The sweet purfume of a delicate flower
Pressed up against my nose, enticing me to
Engulf myself in a deep wiff of her intoxicating scent.
Emerced in mouthfuls of sweetness, I was consumed...
A view of her bountiful portions sitting just atop my
Window sill, swaying in the breeze, as the sunlight
Glistened on her delicate, moist petals.
"Never so lovely, was a pretty flower,
In morning bloom"

Born For Infinity
Born For Infinity
As water falls
from clouds
And music flows
from guitars
and words leave
the poet
and light
pours from stars
As art
from the painter
scent radiates
from bloom
peach tree
bursts from pit
child born
of womb
As attraction
leaves the magnet
love departs the heart
heat leaves the fire
Auras
from souls depart

THE WINGS OF SPIRIT

Fixed the bottle of scent...
Unbound her fragrance' ascent
Branched the nightingale
but her song to all ascends.
Moored tonight is the boat
but morn brings unfurled sails.
Earthbound the bodhisattva
but his aura spreads everywhere.
Amherst-circumscribed
was Emily's pen
but her poems to
distant lands took flight.
93 million miles away the sun
but his love left home
to give us light.

of dying flowers
