There is a tone to this poem: There is a tone to this poem that gives it a sense of being an ancient inscription that has lasted through the ages; just as the beauty of this poem, going forward, will also last for ages. If I were teaching a course on poetry, this poem would be on my syllabus: I think every aspiring poet, and even a well experienced poet, can learn a lot from this poem. Frankly, I think thiis is one of the best poems ever posted on postpoems. It will be a poem I revisit.

This is good, and I agree,: This is good, and I agree, but I would suggest an adjustment to the eighth line. The pronoun, "he," doubles back to the nearest proper noun, which is Fetterman; with the implication (which stumbled me at first) that Fetterman would accuse the Democrats, his own party, of cheating. If Fetterman wins, and an accusation of cheating is raised, it will be Oz or Trump (who is really the Wizard of Oz, in this case, as the man behind the screen pulling the control levers) who will raise that accusation. Just replace "he'll" with "Oz'll" and the line will read more accurately and smoothy.
Otherwise, this is an excellent political poem.
Each person has their own: Each person has their own point of view. You should be expressing yourself in your poetry. Pundits and scholars be damned, first person narrative can really drive home that point.
The least common denominator: The least common denominator and a levelling of the playing field whilst sharing in a commonality whilst killing social taboo.
It would seem that an once of: It would seem that an once of care is almost always worth several pounds of cure. Prevention of disaster allows room for more fun!
