And ancient Roman Poetry was: And ancient Roman Poetry was based upon numbers of syllables in the lines, but the lines had to contain a specific amount of long and short vowels---and I am not enough of a scholar to state how they determined whether a vowel was long or short.

Nothing like: Nothing like a good long drive! Had friends driving between Cali and L.A. over the weekend as well. We were in touch via social media, then the Itaewon incident almost a week ago now. Somehow this interconnectedness suggests to me something quite a bit more than catchy. But pay no heed to my burblings. The counsellor used to note a tendency to overthink. Lol.

I dig it:   Drove across the whole South West listening to Moby Play… from LA to Joshua Tree Park and Palm Springs… to Flagstaff and Sedona and The Grand Canyon… to Mesa Verde National Park… to the Four Corners and Monument Valley… to Salt Lake City… to Los Vegas… and back to LA.   It was the perfect album for the journey.   Digging that “Lost in the World Like Me Theme”   It’s catchy ain’t it.

You’re like me then:   P.S. You’re like me then. That’s exactly how I feel. Something has gone very wrong somewhere for things to have gotten this way.

Sublime mourning for abandoned potential: You can learn a lot about the eyes of a person by the first thing they mention when asked about what they seek in the world/another/themselves. Your eyes don't fail you, as far as I can see.

Are we thereafter frozen in time?: Dark and deep as an ocean bottom calling. The greatest depths drink the river.
