Running in the rain

Folder:
PAPER PURSUIT

CAUTION, slick sidewalks

Wouldn't wish to slip now

Footfalls soft, not stamps

Splish-splash the puddled film

Lke a glossy membrane

Ensheathing the dull gray lain

Of our civilized world, the city

Glistening fumes of gray

Will this be a record 5k?

As this pleasant drizzle of day

Tickles my sensous skin

Against myself, I aim to win
