Thank you. I have always: Thank you. I have always used writing as a means of making sense of this world. If someone gains enjoyment or even--(gasp)--wisdom from my writing so much the better. I fuck up a lot but I try to own it. Eventually, I may learn from my mistakes.
I've always admired your: I've always admired your sheer authenticity (even if it be merely an awareness of 'missing the mark' so to speak) and the frequency at which you share these little snippets of dare-I-say unWisdom. When I read anything of yours it's never force-fed, but on the contrary rather humble and reliable. So yah, thanks for all that. Glad you're still around.
Thank you most kindly. Sorry: Thank you most kindly. Sorry for the delayed reply, I have been, yet again, unwell, and a little scatterbrained thiis week.
I really liked the last: I really liked the last stanza, and how it brought everything together so well that I went from feeling like I was walking on a level path to a growing incline in just a moment.
My deepest gratitude for your: My deepest gratitude for your spot on insights, brilliant exploration of my intent and, most of all, your cherished support. It means more than you know. And coming from a gifted Poet with the ability to move readers, sometimes to tears, your comments are treasures to me.
Just not enough ways to say . . . Thank you!
This song of gratitude,: This song of gratitude, infused with such luminous power and sincere devotion, is an inspiration. I felt my heart shift to a state of hope in its Light. God bless you!
I felt it all as if every: I felt it all as if every word was my own, only it wasn't I just wish it was because it cam from a greater poetic mind and that is a sign of greatness. So many beautiful and deep lines highly emotional whilst maintaining a coldness or bereft mood that is a very difficult thing to do indeed! My favourite lines :
"I remember being
annihilated by love,
burned to death by beauty.
Life was distilled
to one note:
just you
and that was enough
A reat poem within a great poem! Ah beavis would be proud well as proud as I am surely to know you. What richness and depth distilled so well
I still search for signposts....
Just wow!
When ever fragments of you wash upon the shore or doze in your chair... how well you describe the missing to produce a guttural reaction in the reader...
Just... Wow!
Wow thank you so much, I am: Wow thank you so much, I am always awed by you understandings and appreciation of my poetry because I consider your poetry some of the very best on this site! Warm wishes and hugss
Except for the fifteenth: Except for the fifteenth line, this seems like a profound poem. But to include God with that man's name seems blasphemous. Other than that, a good poem.
