Candy in Cauldrons
With cackling Witches
Dare you reach in?
Castle so dark, so evil and grim!
Costumes aplenty, of every whim!
Black Cats yowl a menacing din!
D is for Devil, and demons in Hell
Dragons ignite the flames dancing well!
While Dracula smiles with fangs in delight!
E is for eerie, eyes in the dark
Peeking from corners and trees in forests and parks!
F is for Frankenstein, stitched together in parts!
Fear, fun, frolic, and fright
Will you survive this foggy night?
G is for ghost, floating by windows and stairs
Ghouls lurk in graveyards
Goblins in attics, basements, and closets they stare!
H is for Halloween, the beast time of year
Sharing the horror from haunted house fair
A hearse in the driveway
Something howls, coming quite near!
Red light in rooms
Come any closer to seal your doom!

Strapping them down upon the slab!

Red eyes horns and tails, fur, wings, and scales!
Mansion in darkness, filled with secrets and mazes

Masks on the walls and into the halls
Hidden places in unseen spaces.
N is for nightmares coming alive!
In dreams and awake before your eyes!
Ninjas in shadows appear from the mist

On canvas and skin

Upon the sea where dreams are hiding,
The fishermen's boat goes a-sailing,
Stars above the night are leading,
The lullaby of moon's gentle lowing.
Wynken nods as waves keep onward,
Blynken's eyes with sleep are weaving,
Nod with dreams, skies ever-wand’ring:
