We met at the cancer wards when we where just 24

We learned so much from fighting each passing month

Until remission came and so did wedding dishes

But time always plays that game of luck when you have so many a happy brush

You turned me good

Thinking of you like the first time we pined

I’ll never know someone quite as special as you

I’ll never be quit enamored by someone so true
