I dig it

Drove across the whole South West listening to Moby Play… from LA to Joshua Tree Park and Palm Springs… to Flagstaff and Sedona and The Grand Canyon… to Mesa Verde National Park… to the Four Corners and Monument Valley… to Salt Lake City… to Los Vegas… and back to LA.

It was the perfect album for the journey.

Digging that “Lost in the World Like Me Theme”

It’s catchy ain’t it.

Nothing like

Nothing like a good long drive! Had friends driving between Cali and L.A. over the weekend as well. We were in touch via social media, then the Itaewon incident almost a week ago now. Somehow this interconnectedness suggests to me something quite a bit more than catchy. But pay no heed to my burblings. The counsellor used to note a tendency to overthink. Lol.

Thanks Starward. We are wise to pick up from life's dealings and observations, and to put these to words is a way to commit to memory and to learn/relearn these useful truths. I am glad that they are well received and enjoyed.

Your wit and skill hit the mark precisely in this delightful observation. Great stuff!

Perhaps this is my conception

Perhaps this is my conception of what haiku and similar types of poetry are like in the western poetic tradition, not so much the form and structure but the feel and object of function, e.g. the observation of nature in haiku and here and observation of a natural course of being within a set of life circumstances. I am blessed to have this recognised by those that have read and given word of their reading. I thank you with all the gratefulness of one aiming to live a well thought out life.
