I know the feeling. It's: I know the feeling. It's terrible when one person has every detail memorized because it meant so much and the other person doesn't regard you with a second thought. Terrible. Good work though.
Well done! Your title brings..: Well done! Your title brings to mind the man who walked into the psychiatrists
office wearing nothing but clear plastic wrap. Upon seeing him, the psychiatrist uttered 'Clearly, I can see your nuts'. Keep up the good work.
Call it anything: There's nothing wrong with calling a poem a poem. There's also nothing wrong with alluding to verse with other terminology. I'm a poet but I'm also a philosopher, a prankster, a writer and would be raconteur. Some things I write in poetic form is philosophical expression. Sometimes, I'm a prankster trying to pull the wool over people's eyes. Other things I write in poetic form are probably pieces of flash fiction. Of course, most of it is poetry but truthfully you can call it anything. I'll respect each individual's right to call their poem a poem, a piece, a write, a ditty or whatever floats their boat.
postpoems (and other such: postpoems (and other such sites) is a legitimate means to publish poems. The work is out there. People with no interest or means to purchase a book can still read a lot of fine poetry. I enjoy the whole process of putting a book together, laying it out, designing a cover etc. All the photography (good or bad) is also my own. I'm pleased when anyone enjoys what I do.
Thank you most kindly.: Thank you most kindly. Sometimes all we need to do with each life experience is to fill in the blanks and they appear seamless in comparison.
