Thank you: Starward, thank you. It really does mean so much. Please find the same message of appreciation in my response to patriciajj. I do apologise for being absent recently.

Completely understood: Hi Patriciajj,   Thank you so much for your exceptionally well crafted and poignant response that I am not sure I am worthy of. No need to apologise, I hadn't seen you around here or on AP for so long, so I naturally started to worry.   I completely understand how incredibly busy, messy and complicated life can be. I have been having a similar time of it at them moment and signs are that it appears only to get more hectic for the remainder of the year. That being said, it’s great to hear from you and whilst you owe me nothing, I’m thrilled that you are well.   I feel blessed that you found the structure and symmetry engaging—it’s such a joy to explore those intersections between science and spirit - perhaps more so after a poetry publication tells you they are no good. I mean, I can do that anywhere and at any time!   Your feedback, I admire, was expertly timed, and I also confess I was so moved by it that it has taken me a while to try to convey my appreciation in a manner befitting. So, I have taken the plunge this evening to thank you and how happy I was that you enjoyed the cadence and theme. It’s always rewarding when someone connects with the deeper layers of one’s work. I truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts, and I’m delighted to hear that it provided you and Starward with such an immersive experience. I left some comments for you on AP, and whilst I may not be here as regularly as I’d like, I look forward to more of our exchanges when things settle down for us both.

This reminds me of one of my: This reminds me of one of my dormitory in 1977 who, having finished a jog, returned to toss his sweaty socks on to his absent roommate's fastidiously made bed (made as if in a motel room).  Then because of the heat, he put on a sleeveless tee to which he added baggy, bootcut jeans.  He selected flipflops, but during our short walk to the Dining Hall, the flops just dangled from his right hand's fingers; and, during the meal, they sat on one of the untaken chairs at our table.  His flip-flops did not get a lot of mileage on campus.

Your command of language, and: Your command of language, and of the skill to artistically deploy it in this poem, is well displayed here.  You have compressed an amazing power in a few short lines.  If I were teaching a class on Poetry, this poem would be a textbook example of the height that poetic language can reach!

Hearing this compliment from: Hearing this compliment from you produced such an effect on me that I immediately was inspired to write the poem 'what's the moon do?' a tad veering, but I hope it lives up to that anticipation you mentioned. And again, I can't put into words how sweet it feels to see you here, my friend.

That final phrase, streets of: That final phrase, streets of nocturne, is BEAUTIFUL (and I DO mean, **BEAUTIFUL**), and suggests a mythical, and maybe even epic, place just ripening in anticipation of some poems about it.
