The joy of reading your lines
The kindness in your mind
Always truth in your wise
Always one of a kind
seeing it through your eyes
Seeing your acceptance of mine
Your intolerance for lies
Your patience and time
Incredible verse
Indelible and diverse
Loving the support
Loving the retorts
Great humour
Great gall
Big rumours
Big rides
The gaps in in our pages are wide
The poetry was devine
I hear your whispers in my mind
I hear you, and I know your fine
What I miss, I still miss it all!
What I wouldn't give to speak to you
One more time
One last time.
Joining you in your deeply
Joining you in your deeply moving, strikingly fitting and precisely tailored tribute to a precious cornerstone who can never be replaced. I love how you lyrically captured all those characteristic traits we came to know and love: kindness, wisdom, "intolerance for lies", patience, generosity, her support, honest retorts, humor, gall . . .
It was all her and all precious: "Always one of a kind".
This clever, crushing and beautifully authentic remembrance is a bittersweet experience, and I feel every word, especially the wish to say just a few more words "One more time/ One last time."
This had to be written. Getting choked up over here.
