I smell freedom! Everyone: I smell freedom! Everyone should be freed of such toxic relationships. Sounds like a dream but the sentiment is genuine, speaking from experience as well.
My heartfelt gratitude goes: My heartfelt gratitude goes out to you. I'm not sure how I responded to your comment with that. It was meant to be on a different post altogether. But, it doesn't appear to have caused much confusion. Perhaps the grieving process is a fluid one in that it seems to change and have nuanced distinctions with each case. Thanks for the comfort brought by your much appreciated words.
First . . . nothing you send: First . . . nothing you send me is ever a bother. I am sorry for the present loss, the separation that hurts, but will eventually be repaired in Heaven. You are right about connecting well, and I am glad and grateful to the Lord that you and I have connected through this site. I have prayed for you, that the sense of shrivelling will be assuaged. And although I am clumsy in expressing the right words at a time like this, my heart and motive are sincere..
For some we connect but once: For some we connect but once and that once may not be enough, so the onus on us is to connect well. Sad news from Texas, just a few hours ago; my first cousin (60) died suddenly, her brother, my other cousin, having passed 30 years ago after returning home from serving in the Gulf War. The last time we were in a room together was in 1978 a few days before they left for Austin. Part of me has shrivelled away. Sorry to bother.
This is a MARVELOUS: This is a MARVELOUS invitation, and I applaud the beauty of your language. I am thankful for this site, and the internet in general, that has allowed me to connect to your work.
A couple of months is way too: A couple of months is way too long. A fortnight can be hell and that half of half as long... we try to farm ourselves out every several days to make it easier for all concerned, whether staying over or hosting. Most people nowadays don't have the stomach or the roots for longer stays anyways. But that's just me. Thanks for sharing
