Insane how we have strayed so: Insane how we have strayed so far from pure, natural state, that we delude ourselves into thinking "a better form of now" means we must firstly meet "a gateway to the Otherworld..." When will consciousness triumph over its crippling insecurities and self-doubt, and accept itself for what it is? While the farmers in the garden sweat to feed eternity, as it is and always will be.
Adorable astrological amazing: The kind of words I would wish my (nonexistent) girlfriend to remember me by! not a shy girl to balance as a tightrope talent, towering in silken skirt over burnt-out embers and sterile dirt.
Thank you, Sister Trish: When I titled the poem I admit I was a little daunted, even considering "straight jacket" to subtly suggest a shopping spree instead. just to keep my karma safe. But a proper Poet embraces, encourages even those possible dangers in order to stimulate their world-experiences as nourishment for the emotional content of their artistic expression. Unfortunately it commonly comes at the cost of their own sanity and well-being... RIP Robot
Oh you so get me. Its like: Oh you so get me. Its like everytime I read your works wishing I'd written them because they are so skilfully done and so relatable they pull strings in me I dont let anyone pull. I love that you see me I am always so grateful for your reads and always eager to read you in any post, work or comment all are so worthy if being read, felt analyised and appreciated
Best blessingss great poet friend!
This Island Earth (1955): The sci-fi reference reminded me of a 1955 flick, This Island Earth (1955) which I had the privilege to view the previous day. And many emotions and thoughts that went along in its themes and undertones: respect, belittling, and disorientating realities. A fine blend to thus employ the sci-fi genre and jargon in poetry. That's the good stuff!
