Unrequited Love

Folder:
Silent Hate.

You told him you loved him.

He told me "I was doing it for us"

You told him you loved him.

He told me “She was just a hole to stick it in”

You told him you loved him

He told me “She was easy”

You told him you loved him.

He told me “I did what I had to”

You told him you loved him.

He told me “She meant nothing”

You told him you loved him.

He told me “She could have been anyone”

You told him you loved him.

He told me "The sex wasn't good"

You told him you loved him.

He told me “I had to think of you when I was with her”

You told him you loved him

He told me “I love you”

  Women can give

Women can give unconditional love to a cheater... but don't have to stay around

Dang...

This one hits a lot of levels. I've been on both sides of this story and relate to this piece a lot. Really well written. I hope it's helping you to write these things out. I know poetry has always been a way for me to transpose emotions too heavy to keep in my head. <3

Thank you!

I would say I'm glad you can relate but actually it sucks that you do. I don't want anyone to relate on any level to this but I know people will. Thank you for taking the time to read and leave your thoughts. I definitely appreciate it. XOXO

I really enjoyed your

I really enjoyed your writing. You have skills and untapped talents. However, in order to read what you penned, I had to cut and paste, as well as change the type and font. I’m sure other poets have had the same problem - and then passed you by. It’s your words and typing, but you might consider letting the audience read them without all the hassle. Love pink too, but the trouble to read through the color and font may not be worth the effort to some.

Thank you

Thank you for your comments and for taking the extra time you needed to read my poem :) I know it can be difficult to read and you aren't the first person to comment on this. The color choice actually has meaning itself and honestly I wrote these more for myself, as a way to help myself work through all the trauma. I definitely still appreciate your Comments though and will keep it in mind if i write any other unrelated ones in the future.
