This poem was written in reflection to the draft during the vietnam conflict. It is the first poem in my series on vietnam.  It isn't written from the point of view of any real person, it was just written to explain the emotions of the image of the innocent draft victim. I hope you like it.

The final poem in my vietnam series, this poem shows the end of our vet.  This poem covers the topics of loss and suicide.  I suppose since this is the end of the series i should deticate it to someone, but i don't know who to dedicate it to, I realy don't know anyone who served in vietnam, let alone who ended up killing themselves.  I suppose I should dedicate this to All the many who came home and ended it at home.  As many soldier that died in vietnam, about the same number commited suicide after coming home.  I dedicate this series to them and the gratitude they should have gotten.  I hope that some of them are where i can meet them someday.  God bless America.  Post your oppinions.

I know that this poem is getting a bit serious, but this is a serious series.  This poem is the fifth in a series of six on vietnam.  This is about our soldier when the war has taken away everything he was and he can't take it anymore.  Please post your comments and cratiques.

Number four in this series, now our little soldier boy wakes up and becomes a man.  This poem is themed on the fact that sometimes pain comes from the least likely places and always pay attention to those with experience, wisdom is all to often overlooked.  Tell me what you think, please.

Poem number three in the vietnam series, our friend finally arives in Vietnam.  This poem is supposed to express the transition into the war, thought it isn't too clear of that i suppose.  It's more of a transition into the next poem as you will see...

This is the second poem in my vietnam series.  This is the same guy getting his patriotism in boot camp.  This, personaly is my least favorite from this series, but i'll leave the cratiques to you (that is if any of you ever post a cratique to save your life, lol j/k)  I hope you enjoy it.

The "war on terrorism" is a bullshit war to further American interests in the Middle East, at the expense of human lives.  Don't buy that crap they feed you on the news.  Open your eyes and seek the truth.
