a lasting imprint

lost love

A lasting imprint

 Is all that's left?

I won’t ever forget,

I’m glad you were mine

Even if it was for a short time,

If I hurt you in any way

I am very sorry that's all I can say,

Your lasting imprint

Makes me smile

It takes me for over a mile,

The lasting imprint of you

 Is very beautiful,

Like dark velvet soft and pretty,

All you want to do is touch.

You gave me that chance

And if I took it for granted

I’m sorry.

Not just because I lost you

But because you meant

More than the breath

 Of life from up above,

Your lasting imprint

Is what's left of you?

Your art and toys they brought

So much

Joy just like a toddler with a soul

Of a wonderful man,

I’ll never stop loving you I promised you

That from day one I

Won’t go back

 Ill keeps my word

Til the end of time

Sweet vampire who was mine

The noises outside my window

Wake me from my slumber

Dreaming of the day I hold you

The way you looked into my eyes.

I lay there dumb founded at these

Emotions which rattle my brain.

Trying to figure out these new feelings

And what they mean.

What I want them to mean?

It feels so daughting to me

To feel these emotions for one being

Unselfish, complete compassions

And love

For this creature, this human girl.

Those tiny fingers wrapped around my finger

Those beautiful eyes starring into mine

With complete trust and devotion.

This baby

Made from two materials

Joined by love.

Our baby

Forever our baby

Eternity's Love

Love & Romance

Many lifetimes ago when our souls were new,

We first met and I fell in love with you.

You were born a princess and I was born poor,

You lived in a castle and I saw you no more.

Our bodies grew old; then we died,

Our souls free again our love couldn’t hide.

Then again in our births; we were torn apart,

But a love like ours; stays in the heart.

Through this new life; though we never did meet,

In each of our hearts; our love was sweet.

We lived many long lives; in some we had fun,

But never together; we shared not a one.

Down through the pages of history went time,

Never in one life; could I claim you as mine.

Our love always lasted; though hidden away,

We knew through our love; that we’d be together one day.

Then in this lifetime; God seen us from above,

He placed us together, so we could share; eternity’s love.
