surround me

surround me, oh water

carry me to the ocean

fly me over the cascading waves

reflecting the sun’s light on their crests

as they fall over each other like new lovers

the water rains upon me

and I am cooled

surround me, oh fire

bring to me the emotion I so lack

deliver to me a sense of need

for life and prosperity

take me to the place where I am alive

the fire, it warms me

and I have purpose

 surround me, oh wind

carry me through the trees

soothing my soul of the flames

bring me the peace I had as a child

when I was happy

the wind gusts around me

and I am soothed

surround me, oh earth

my time has come to an end

let your flowers cover me in color

telling all that I have reached happiness

I am at peace now

the earth falls upon me

and we are one.

Whispering Alliance

Nature / Folder 1

Weather, pressure, hot and cold,
Swirls around in the heavens until it gets old,
Tumbling down across rivers and streams,
Through mountains and valleys, canyons, ravines.
Painting the clouds with a paintbrush unseen,
Whistling and howling, of where you have been,
Of all of the elements, I've always loved you,
It's because of the unity you often imbue,
A thundertorm isn't the same when you've left,
When you're there all the poise is indeed so bereft,
But gusty, blustery, flustery wind,
When you strum up your fury,
We best not be thin-skinned.

The 4 elements

Once upon a time in faraway land, father Sun had 4 beautiful daughters with the Moon. The quadruplets where alike but different at the same time. Their names were given by their godmother Earth. First she took the blonde baby girl with white skin and big blue eyes and she said:

“Your name will be Aqua and you will be able to control the empire of the sea, every living thing among this reign shall be under your power, and to defend your reign in case of a threat you will possess a magical hippocampus: a horse with a tail of a whale that will obey to your commands”.

She set Aqua again in the crib, and then took the baby with brown hair and green eyes and because of her characteristics she said:

“Your name will be Terra and you will control every living thing that lives in land, they will be under your power and to defend from any possible threat you will possess a magical unicorn: a horse with a horn on his head that will obey to your commands”.

She lay down Terra aside Aqua, and then took the baby with black hair, white skin and grey eyes and said:

“Your name will be Aera, your reign will be the one that flows with the wind, every living thing that moves through the skies shall be under your power. To protect your kingdom you will possess a magical pegasus: a horse with wings of an angel that will obey to your commands”.

She lay down Aera along with Aqua and Terra, she then took a look to the only baby that was left, who was about to cry because her sisters were carried up before her. This baby had red hair as fire, yellow eyes like the sunrays and white skin like her sisters. Mother Earth stared at the baby and said:

“I feel in this baby an energy that I didn’t felt in the others, your name, baby girl, will be Flamma, you will possess the power to control the fire, and to protect your kingdom you will possess a magical dragon with wings and fire breath. This is a very powerful element that you must not use for wrong.”

She lay down Flamma with her sisters Aqua, Aera and Terra. Then they sent the 4 godesses with their magical animals down to the Earth, where they will protect the kingdoms.

When they grew up, Aqua realized that she was the queen of all the mermaids of the sea, the fishes, dolphins, whales and every living thing from oceans and lakes. She was very happy to see how big her kingdom was. Terra had the second biggest kingdom; she ruled every living thing that walked on the earth: all the humans, the lions and the wolves. She knew her kingdom was not as big as Aqua’s, but she still had a lot of animals to care about. Aera had the third biggest kingdom; she ruled everything in the skies: all the birds from the eagles to the humming birds, from the flamingos to the parrots. She didn’t owned any plant, thought she was happy with her flying animals. Flamma, on the other hand, was not happy at all, as soon as she arrived to the earth she found at that the only living thing among his kingdom was her magical dragon, only the fire was under her reign, and she could only use it to burn the plants and the people. She was so very sad because her power was only for bad. Terra saw the sadness of her sister, she felt sorry that Flamma was not happy with the element she was given, and then she had an idea. Terra saw how her humans where freezing when the winter came along. She went to look out for her sister and told her:

“It does not matter how many possessions you have or how many things you own, what matters most is the goodness of your heart and how you use the gifts of earth to help others.”

Flamma then realized she could use the fire to warm the humans, to help them cook their meals and to burn the land so give more food to the animals and humans. She was very happy to see how his dangerous power could also help others in a good way.

Cardinal Directions

Birds chirp overhead, brightly colored things,

Fragile creatures with songs of summer in their throats.

Wind rustles the paper thin leaves overhead,

Leaves the color of blood and sunset,

Colors of winter with the smell of freshly turned Earth.

The hope of spring gives life through the chill of winter.

Wind caresses my frozen tears, delicate crystals upon

A pale, fragile cheek.

The Northern wind slices cold through my warm veins,

Stealing the breath from my lungs.

Time stands still, a fly caught in the spider's trap.

Icy breath caresses the shell of my ear.

The Northern wind speaks in a thousand tongues long turned to dust.

It speaks of home, forgotten and forbidden,

Of unspoken possibility, seven thousand strings of destiny,

Seven hundred forgotten paths.

The Northern wind speaks and falls silent once again.

The Eastern wind whispers, a sweet caress,

Tickles and delights, singing of Spring, of budding roses and cut grass.

A fragile lily opens in a crystalline winter, a delicate life so easily crushed.

The Eastern wind sings an unearthly melody,

A future woven in the web of Life and Death, of blood and darkness.

It speaks of a shadow, of an end to a fragile eternity.

The Eastern wind whispers and falls silent.

The Southern wind dances, a writhing caress against my eyelashes.

It lights a fire, a burning bush, a sign of faith and truth,

Blackened and sullied by the deception of humanity's imperfection.

The Southern wind paints the untarnished word spoken, the chaos of emotion.

There is no past in the South, no certainty of tomorrow, only the unending Now.

The Southern wind burns in to ash and falls silent.

The Western wind roars and howls, screams and whispers, demanding attention.

It flows like a river through the liquid spirit, the intangible essence that defines Humanity.

The Western wind wears through memory, such a worn thing.

Rain falls from the sky, washing away the gray and leaving only darkness.

The Western wind cries and falls silent once again.

Wind and rain, Earth and fire.

All fall to the devastation of chaos.

The Four Knights

My school

The Four Knights
Long time ago, there was a legend about four mighty warriors that had stopped the end of the world with the power of the water, earth, wind and fire, then were a time of peace and prosperity but as everything it had to come to an end. So it’s time again to four brave young adventurers to rise together and save the world once and for all.
So let’s start. There was a wise monkey that could tell the future and the feelings of his fellow peers. This monkey see in their dream a clock, that clock represent the future of their solemn society and the future of the world, and that’s why he go to the Elders of the 4 communities to tell them what have he, the monkey, dream about. The Elders heard him and they became concerned about his wise words so they called their most faithful knights so they could stop this catastrophe; they send the horse, the most honest and strong of them, the fox, the most clever and tricky, the dog, the most faithful and leader of them, and the raccoon, the elusive but very good at tactics.
So there they go, to their adventure, traveling from air, water, ice, mountains, plains and desserts to find the 4 basic elements, water, earth, wind and fire, and one unknown to all but powerful enough to stop all this madness but at the same time, it could bring the destruction faster.
During their adventure, the dog become concerned that maybe one of his team mates is going to betray them, but he wasn’t sure about that, so he was always checking on them. When they got the 4 elements, they were thinking in a way of getting the last one of the elements that acted as a “key” to join together the other 4. Then instantly the raccoon raise his hand, so he could be noticed, and told them “Maybe I should go, this is the most dangerous place from all, and I don’t want you to be injured”. Hearing this, the dog began to suspect more of his partner, so he says, “I don’t think so, I will be going with you”, and so, they go together.
The dog, always in their way watching the raccoon, didn’t know that someone was following them, but the raccoon did knew it and then started to walk in the same speed as the dog and told him, “I think that someone is following us” and the dog responded, “I think that you are lying, like all this time, I think that you must be the traitor of the group, because you are the most elusive of all and you are almost perfect at making tactics, and with this, you could betray us and get in your hands the elements and the key to destroy the communities.” The raccoon, couldn’t believe it, he was shocked by the arguments that his leader told him, but then an arrow hit him on the back and one arrow landed on the shoulder of his leader. When the dog opened his eyes and he was faced with the fox, which was smirking from ear to ear and say “thank you for not doubting on me, now I can continue with the plan” and then he killed the dog and the raccoon. After this, the fox took the key from the place, kill the horse that had all the elements and take them from him. After that, he continued with his plan to control the world, but it got wrong in managing the elements, and all life in the earth was gone.
