Really a poem about self-image inspired while Reading Robert Bly's, "Iron John." The dream is a vehicle to explain what it is like to suffer from diminished self-image and codependency.
One of my better poems I believe.
This is dedicated to anyone who finds that it is really hard to face another day. Remember, listen for the whispered words. Somewhere is the answer.
