Lupine Dreams

Author's Notes/Comments:

Really a poem about self-image inspired while Reading Robert Bly's, "Iron John."  The dream is a vehicle to explain what it is like to suffer from diminished self-image and codependency.

One of my better poems I believe.

Hope?

This is dedicated to anyone who finds that it is really hard to face another day.  Remember, listen for the whispered words.  Somewhere is the answer.

The Land Of My Dreams

Author's Notes/Comments:

The day has been long, the world has shown no mercy, and I am in need of an escape for the weariness of my soul.  As I do so many times where there is no where to turn, I resort to trying to share my feelings in written form.  Please join me in a fantasy of the heart.  You will find no rhyming words, form my be far from correct, but the pictures from my soul will become clear if you can look beyond all of that and just feel.  Feel the quietness, the beauty, and the hope of a world that once was, but now exists only in a past era.  This is the first I am posting to this site.  It is my hope that my fantasy will take you to a place of peace. Remember, a dream is a wish your heart makes.  Wish often, dream big!
