Always loved the longest:
Always loved the longest day of the year. There’s something special about it. The ancients were far more attuned to lunar and solar cycles than modern society, and I think there’s something beautiful about that – because it connects us to the bigger picture – the Cosmos. Of which, we are apart.
Superlatively refreshing!: Superlatively refreshing! Brings to mind the first instance of being brought to one's knees and the countless succeeding times of great import at differing stages of life's travels. Encouraging in knowing that all will end well to those that love Him.
A very powerful expression: A very powerful expression that brings me to the epic saga of Ang's quest in the Avatar. But selfishness appears to be at the root of it all that ails us.
A lot of people these:
A lot of people these days prefer illusion. I guess they love the tingle of smoke being blown up their ass.

Here go ego, again and again.: Here go ego, again and again. Great springboard from Pauline thought who was well versed in both Greek and Scriptural philosophy.
It is: and it will ever be revelation from Above that our divine image reflected within responds to. This process seen through and completed faithfully by the Author and Finisher of our faith! Such sublime truth from Paul period of final incarceration before his martyrdom.
for the sake of a healthy tree:
Whenever we get the inclination to burn or destroy, it’s really our soul-wisdom whispering to us, to lop off the dead branches of our life. To burn them – and forget them. Because they have lost their functionality and no longer serve us. And the weight of that dead wood is a burden – to our tree of life.
So, we must lop them off and burn them, allowing the ashes to settle into the soil around our roots, where we can absorb the lessons that nurture us, to regrow new healthy branches.
It’s a painful endeavour – because those branches are attached to us. And burning off the dead wood is always a painful operation. But it must be done – for the sake of a healthy tree, that will serve us in the future.
