Puzzles@72: At 72+ everything appears to be a puzzle. Yet it's just beautiful to embrace the years. Some puzzles are never solved and it doesn't really matter. I nostalgically remember your Healing Lady days and my own Popeye days. Actually off late Just Scribbling on a Poets Only site is so so devastating mentally. But may you please convey that I still enjoy reading posts on this gorgeous blog. My regards and best wishes

This is a very powerful..: This is a very powerful, well written piece which clearly expresses both your anger, frustration, and eventual acceptance of what must have been a very painful episode of your life. Well done. You mention you have another 12 years to go on probation. As this was written in 2013, that would mean your probation would end next year. You won't be a slave to the penal system anymore. If you're not a slave, would that make you a master? I, for one, believe I am. A master who believes in probation. Yes, I'm definitely pro 'master'-bation.
" . . . Like me they are fugitives of sameness . . .": Being surrounded by numerous poets here who are far more trained in poetry than I, all I can say is that I was moved by this poem especially the line cited above.
