Falling on my window pane
Like tears of angels falling down
Falling down for me
Listen! Hear their cry
As my soul slowly dies
Withering in pain
Love’s long oblivion
Now suddenly gone
Left with but half of what we were
Ashes to ashes
And dust to dust
I hope your cold metal heart
Slowly turns to rust
Cry with me angels
Cry so long with me
For the greatest thing is love
For it there’s no remedy
For when it bites the heart
It leaves it open wide
For traitors to come inside
The rain keeps pouring down
Or are they the tears I cry
For now I have once loved
Now feel I must die?
