This is for my children, now grown, and their spouses. We can be as proud of our children as we want, but from a child's perspective, the words mean a lot.
Our local radio station used to relay a poetry program of very high standards. The DJ of the hour long program made it worthwhile. I was its most regular caller and moved by its haunting melodies I composed this poem.
