My reply to a poem I admire very much.  The similarity between the Pro-Consul's granddaughter's name, and my own daughter's name, is intentional.

This was my contribution to the 9/11 greif.  I wrote it but did not want to share it at the time.  It has lain forgotten until I was reading my journal tonight(Feb 19, 2003)  I thought it best to be shared.
