For all our young men and women who have fallen in harms way. Thank you for your sacrifice.

For my friends going off the the military and leaving loved ones.

Combatants in civilian clothes are not entitled to protection under the Geneva Conventions as they are putting innocents at risk.  The fact that we aren't just executing these people is magnanimous enough.

In memory of all those who died at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941 and a prayer that September 11, 2001 will not lead us all onto a path we can not turn back from.

Just some patriotic thoughts.

For my 200th poem I wanted it to be special, so I made it a tribute to our veterans.

Written as a school requirement in 1996.

Kadipan is a school academic club whicj stands for Kaisipan at Diwang Panitikan. As a member, I was moved to compose this poem for no reason. (1995)
