American Fighting Mans Code

Folder:
Military/Patriotic
Author's Notes/Comments:

This is the code of the American Fighting Men and Women. It is committed to memory in Basic Training and is something we should all think about. It is not brainwashing to make our men and women commit this to memory, but a guide to help them in those times when they are prisoners of the enemy. The ones who survive and have lived the code are heros, because doing so more than likely saved numerous lives.

Price of Freedom

Author's Notes/Comments:

Whether we like it or not, we ARE in a world war in a fight for our very survival and way of life. It is not grandiose like previous wars where there were great battles with great armies, but one fought in the shadows and all we, who are not directly involved see, are the bodies of our loved ones coming home in body bags. We should not get angry at our government as that only strengthens our enemies and fills more body bags with our loved ones. We should be angry at the criminals who randomly murder innocents with suicide bombs, IUDs, and the like. It is hard enough for our men to fight our enemies in foreign lands, but to have to fight them at home is what they are trying to prevent. Please don't give comfort to the enemy, send letters to your congressmen to support the war and keep antiwar rhetoric private and out of the public eye for that is giving comfort to our enemies at home and abroad.

Don't Turn Your Head Away

IRAQ War II
Author's Notes/Comments:

To the Iraqi people. This is not the American's war on terrorism, it is the world's war on terrorism. Quoting John F. Kennedy, 'Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what YOU can do for your country.' You can help by reporting terrorists and where IEDs have been planted. Do it for your children and your grandchildren. Do it for Allah that his peace may once again reign over the land.

Political Statement for Dec. 7

Folder:
Military/Patriotic
Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem is not directed at the general population of any country but at the politicians that either won't do what is right or have lost sight of the greater good. The war on terror is not aimed at a specific nation but at every nation in the world. Any nation that refuses to step up to the plate to combat this enemy where ever he hides or operates must also be viewed as an enemy. The old adage, 'If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.' applies. Terrorism will not be wished away nor can it be bribed or ignored. Its causes and perpetrators must be rooted out and destroyed. Terrorists are not soldiers and are not protected under the Geneva Conventions. They follow no rules of engagement and if we do, we will end up like the British trying to combat the colonials in 1776. This kind of war is a no holds barred donnybrook and to prosecute it in any other way is a sure way to defeat.
