Author's Notes/Comments:

A family from my church recently adopted a three year old boy whom they had been fostering for awhile. The hearing where his adoption was finalized was on a Thursday, the following Sunday he was still telling everyone "I GOT 'DOPTED!" When I heard him say it, my imediate thought was, there's a song in those words. That evening, I sat down and wrote the words to this song. Alternative title is "Asa's Song," since he was the one who gave me the first line of the song.

I wrote this about God's Sacrifice so that we could have life and have it more abundantly. GOD IS THE GREAT RESTORER....AND BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE FOR US AND HIS SACRIFICE HE RECONCILED US SO THAT WE MIGHT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. THANK YOU JESUS.
