This poem was written during a writers conferance when we were given a certain amount of time to wright a poem about praise, I had to wright another because this one wasn't exactly "praisworthy"

All I can say is that I am grateful to have the people I do in my life.

This poem was written for a candle company that I write poetry for. This one was written for Mother's Day. It has NO reflection on my own mother.

Sometimes when you look up to someone as a big brother figure, their footsteps are slightly larger than your own, and you fall inside the imprint when you try following in his footsteps. I wrote this for my cousin, Henry, after he came home from Iraq.

I miss the land of my childhood?I miss my family.
