This is about the hippocirtes who walk the earth... you know who I'm talking about.  The kid down the street, who sports a cross, but has a slingshot in his back pocket...

While going to Oklahoma State University (from which I am a drop out with plans to return), I became "active" in a local church, there.  I helped out in the Children's Ministry.  We had several kids who were in Foster Care come to our church.  This was written about one of them.

For Robert, wherever you may be today.  You cam eto church (with your foster parents) and I saw you grow, I saw you give your life to Jesus, and I saw the Joy with which He replaced your sorrow.  Then DHS said it was time for you to return to your mom, and I haven't seen you since.  I still pray for you, often.  May you remain in His Joy, and in His Light.  

I wrote this one in 2001.  It's about some things that happened to me when I was young, and my struggle to "get over it."  Only Jesus can heal the scars upon our hearts.

I wrote this in 1998, i still have not read this to my mother, but she knows.. i know she knows..
