So what words can convey my: So what words can convey my unfathomable gratitude for that spectacular vote of confidence? For now, this inadequate human language will have to suffice. Thank you again and again!

How ever did I miss this: How ever did I miss this magnificent poem?  I am so sorry, I thought my reading of your work had been more thorough.    There are so many beautiful phrases in this poem; the entire poem is a perfect tapestry of beautiful and striking phrases which, as they do in your other cosmic poems, convey to the reader your beautiful and striking perspective.  You are most truly, Il Miglior Fabbro---if I may again borrow the phrase from two of your peers, Dante and T.S. Eliot.  You have that marvelous talent, which blesses only the greatest of Poets, of taking ordinary words, joining them together, and showing us sparkling, shimmering, lambent and limpid phrases of extraordinary beauty and meaning.

Excellent examples of: Excellent examples of enthralling and melodic performance poetry. The first one electrifies with striking images as it tugs at the heart with the word "waiting". Much is implied in that word. Very intense.   The second one, just as brilliant, uses cunning movement and sound to express the tedium and angst we can relate to.   Wonderful as always.

This definitely should be: This definitely should be classed as a sub genre in poetry, where reminiscing and recollecting through journeys sentimental or otherwise. Reminds me of all the memories dredged up while watching Stephen King's "Stand By Me." Curious that the faces and friendships fade but patinaed memories remain. Thanks for sharing.

With all that is going on:  With all that is going on around us does make this aloneness quite attractive and quite inevitable. 'Social distance' itself connotes a a segregating of self from other and others from self. Thanks for sharing.

Not being the doer and thus: Not being the doer and thus the one being done to feels like an open canvas set high on fireworks night.

Reading this somehow gave me: Reading this somehow gave me the feel of swinging toward the end of the opposite arc of a pendulum, the other end of which resounds with the words of "do not go gentle into that good night..." and in between is Bob Dylan and the crew of contemporary and classic poets writing along the same trajectory. thanks for having shared. /Rik.

Beauty on repeat, the: Beauty on repeat, the opportunity renews itself with each season's return,  a constant companion in our years. An apt reminder for us to avail ourselves of what is freely and generously given. The first line is also a call to rest periodically from being behind the wheel and to be a 'backseat' passenger at intervals. Thanks so much for sharing. /Rik.

Highlighted the text and: Highlighted the text and pressed "speak" to hear it being read out to me while in the background Franz Liszt's "Liebestraum"  played in accompaniment. By the time the last three stanzaz were being spoken the realisation sunk in. The reality and the dream melded together in the reader's mind and soul. Thanks for sharing.

Being behind . . .way, way: Being behind . . .way, way behind . . . on my reading, I read this beautiful poem, and was awestruck by the first and fifth lines, which spoke to memories from a most memorable summer and autumn in my life, 1976.  I became enamored of fallen leaves and sunsets mostly during my freshman year at college; and the previous summer, driven along some of our very rural township's backroads, om Friday and Saturday nights, to talk on our c.b., with my Beloved driving while I, ever the chatterbox, talked on channel twenty-two. Thank you for posting this beautiful poem.
