This folder contains poems and parts of letters/texts/IM's written to my wife, Petula.

Of everything I've ever written, these are the most special to me. They were written at a time when Petula and I, reconnected and fell in love on a much deeper level than ever before in our 9 years together. We had begun to drift apart when suddenly a spark of magic out of the blue, some kind of mystery, ignited us to become like burning phosphorous. There's nothing unusual about falling in love again with your spouse. What may be unusual, though, is the ferocious intensity of the reconnection, the all consuming passion, the heat and the absoluteness of the love.

I am honoured to journey through the rest of my life with the most amazing woman by my side. Kind, generous, supportive, patient, compassionate, passionate, warm, funny, quirky, tough as nails yet so painfully vulnerable at times, self-assured and confident, yet at times so in need of reassurance and acceptance, super smart, sexy, beautiful, caring, fiercely loyal, a fantastic mother - this is my wife. My light, my hope, my rock, my sun, moon and all of my stars for as long as we both shall live and beyond. In a world of so many cruel hearts, I can't believe I got so lucky to find such a true diamond.
