I wrote this thinking of the poor and forsaken members of our society, ravaged with hopelessness and bowed down in spirit. I wonder if we, you, and I, the more fortunate ones, have all done our fair share in alleviating their sufferings and miseries.
This was the first poem I ever wrote. I wrote it for a newsletter of a camp I was in, figured I'd write something about the future since that's what the camp focused on. I was 13.
Geez, I must be the most creative person alive! To think, this poem spells out the ALPHABET on the side. I am too smart for my own good, I swear..... (High School, anywhere between '93-'95)
