Thanks dear Patricia. Indeed: Thanks dear Patricia. Indeed this has its source spring in Arthurian lore interwoven with the recent events of May 6, 2023 wherein the Hon. Penny Modaunt ceremouniously presents Charles III one of the swords of enthronement.

Thank you dear poet. Indeed: Thank you dear poet. Indeed no colloguiallism is to be found here, at least not contemporary banter. It could as well vary somewhat from English of earlier periods but in the reading is archaic enough and a literary construdction that signals to the reader both the flex and reach of our language and consciousness of epochal proportions, for that appreciation am I deeply grateful. I will leave a note on the post as this melds into and interweaves with the events of May 6, 2023. That may offer its readers more of a grasp and extension in their journey.

Although I dislike the title,: Although I dislike the title, I think the poem presents an excellent balance of specific imagery and abstract concepts.

There's a dreamy musicality: There's a dreamy musicality and an enthralling sense of place in your Medieval drama. My interpretation is that a pivotal victory of spirit over might is unfolding. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but regardless, the stately voice and elegant thunder compressed within the lines created an enchanting experience.    Splendid and very enjoyable.

You did an excellent job: You did an excellent job being inclusive and respectful of individuals' rights to their orientation while objectively exposing some very real potential for abuse. As if we need more of that.    Some things are simply right or wrong, and it's baffling that there even needs to be a partisan divide or any argument about it. I love how you concluded your intelligent and compassionate children's advocacy piece with an undogmatic, gracious and enlightened attitude:   "Peace and love to all good people doing good things out there whoever you are and however you're doing it."   Your path illuminates mine.

As I read this poem it evokes: As I read this poem it evokes an ancient world that emerges from Poetry as the blossom emerges from the bud.  The tone of the poem and its grammatic construction also suggest a language that, although understandable, it not entirely our mundane contemporary chatter.

Thank you so much..: Thank you so much for your comment. I'll never forget the advice my father gave me many years ago.  'Keep your mouth shut, and your bowels open'. Best advice I ever received. Thanks again.

Totally dig this one. Dream: Totally dig this one. Dream states and varying states of sleep, that is amazing to explore and experience. Adulting has often taken that exploration away but still tantalising and mysterious nonetheless.
