A highly significant and: A highly significant and thought-provoking portrait that says as much about society as it does about the tragic character on the street. With moving and well-crafted images, you cleverly mix the sad and the absurd: the hat "Like that of a red and white dragon" has a bitter humor when "The lines in his mind/ Become longer and longer/ At every passing minute" (Amazing metaphorical language!)    The twist that jumps out at the end is that perhaps he's not the farcical one; perhaps those "normal" people of the world passing him by are the twisted actors in our human drama.    A brilliant commentary on the roles we play.

An indisputable defense of: An indisputable defense of science and logic with some brilliant persuasion:   "For science, is not a faith-based business but is a living breathing animal   It only thrives with open debate and challenge"   It was very shrewd to emphatically point out:   "And as we all know, the truth is an enemy only to tyrants, and those wishing to obfuscate the truth"   Those with a thirst for knowledge and ultimate reality don't fear uncensored debate. They welcome new ideas, even opposing ones, and are always willing to accept that they could be wrong. How else do we learn and allow the truth to "rise to the surface" as you said?    Great thinkers have always been feared by closed-minded fanatics so you're in good company.    George Orwell's quote was a perfect summation and is still relevant (especially!) today.    A convincing testimony in defense of reason.

Your talent pours through: Your talent pours through this amazing torrent of thought. Relationships are rarely tidy and simple, and you sketch the wild, tumultuous and thrilling ride with fascinating skill, then end on a striking metaphor that left me stunned and connecting personally to every word.    Everything I would expect in an excellent prose poem.

not even a flake of snow this winter:   Enjoyed this a lot. Living on a cold windy hill, I too yearn for green life to return. Too many browns and greys, and too many drabby lingering mud puddles. And we haven’t even had a flake of snow yet to make it pretty. I’m ready for some colour and warm sun.

a strange phenomena of the modern world :   Most people are incapable of sitting alone with themselves in the moment. Hence the reason they anaesthetize themselves with constant entertainment.

Your description of what: Your description of what poetry does with the spirit was a precise hit and a breathtaking one at that.    I'm always indescribably honored and humbled by your rare ability to tunnel to the core of a poem (not just mine but other poets blessed to have an audience with you) and find its center of gravity and its very essence. Everything you so brilliantly, so generously, describe was exactly what I was going for. What a blissful affirmation. Thank you!   Your unwavering support and priceless encouragement makes all the difference to me and everyone who is honored to know you on this site.
