(a loveseat recliner)

to kick back now

and to think about

how tightly a fit

in our tiny apartment;

to read a novel

upon this blue throne,

and watch films.

A sedative beverage

is always at hand

in the cupholder 

where Molly jumps up

and spills it all over.
