Thank you!: Encourages me, that I did the story some justice.   To be a griot must have carried with it a great amount of honor and responsibility. I imagine one would have to develop a tremendous amount of trust within the community to have listening ears gather, and aging mouths pass the baton of the past along. Within such, all of life that has come already is allegory for other times which are to come.    I have not done a ton in this mold for some time now, but have an open borders policy with styles, so when the moment seems right it just naturally unfolds. I just felt really compelled. I definitely recommend it. With your skills and writing experience, and plenty of stories to tell, I imagine there are some real possibilities, indeed.

Your Prose Rocks: Balance and form so meticulously woven. A tale is told by scops and griots. Extended prose is allegory, right? I may try this - it has possibilities. ~A~

So Much To Contend: . Immigration may exceed both once moma nature gets her groove groovin' . Putin added chaos to chaos - economic colonialism was sealed with the universal glue of globalism. The game is  cheap resources and wageless labor. Dictators (tin can or otherwise) are learning how to align with bigger states for personal or gang gain. usa should have taken over Mexico, Central Amer. and the Carribbean including Cuba and Dominican Republic a century ago. Unaligned "emerged" states will tumble like landslides once ores and the big two resources diminish. The ants will scramble.  . We need to get rid of debt and let the eu support the U.N. and the World Bank. (usa controlled dollar infusers). The Trumpledster wanted to withdraw from NATO. He may have stumbled upon a good idea. Modernize. We need something more equitably financed. (I NEED UNLEADED PIPES AND WATER PURIFICATION PLANTS!) Time to pay national debts down usa. . ICCBM's N Korea? Really?  . Lady A .

lyrycsyntyme commented on: PARENTS AND TEENAGERS by chris 2 years 29 weeks ago
Inherently: it seems to be the job of teenagers to rebel. But it is the job of adults to reel them in. There's a reason why our species has more adults than children, at any given moment. And the societies where this is least the case, are where open bloodshed is most common. Not only because of this, of course, as there are conditions behind it all that have contributed to such low population ages to begin with. None the less, we can learn something from those scenes. Why are we handing the keys, figuratively and literally, to the young? I don't know. I was there, you were there. We knew very little. We thought we knew so much : )

Article: Flowing in and out of another specimen when a lesson is balanced to stretch men to the meaningless meandering of then perished paritularities in pursuit of truth?

lyrycsyntyme commented on: HOW I VIEW THE WORLD by joy 2 years 29 weeks ago
Beautiful,: ..but I think the creator(s) got it right. We were given many roads to travel down. This is the one we chose, though obviously it was not so simple - tugs in many directions have landed us here. When it starts over, someday, that choice - I imagine - will be presented once again. If we can work more in unison, and respond less defensively to each others tugs, the tugs will mostly become less aggressive, till it's words of suggestion before tugs. Perhaps, someday, in some place, it will turn out that way.

Good follow up,: thank you.   This has me thinking about Chicago: One of the historic slaughterhouse districts and one of the most violent cities in the US. Hmmm.
