lyrycsyntyme commented on: Handle Your Energy Please! by BMosley 2 years 28 weeks ago
"...I need you to want it more than me": That's a great line. And great advice. We can become mired in the muck of hopelessness towards our own well-being. We all need pulling out of the mud, sometimes, but being there can become so habitual that some people start to fight against the tug, rather than push towards the pull. Not always realizing they are exhausting the very person trying to help them, as well as their own selves. Such a state becoming a sort of drug.   Just the same, there are situations where positive just isn't the answer, either. There are not always rays of sunshine, no matter how hard we try to will the sun into existence. In those times, the best a person can hope for is that those rays will return in time, but mourning may be required. It's not always mourning for a loved lost, sometimes it's mourning for the death of a dream, or of a part of our innocence, or something else significant. In those situations, sometimes a person just needs to lay in the mud for a little while and know that it's okay.

You put it into perspective: You put it into perspective so skillfully that I was struck by the wonder, just as if I were there. A vision of infinity.

Tight-knit little poem: But don't go sowing it on a pillow and resting your head on it.

Learned something new and valuable: And your writing invited me to explore new theories, new contours of human behavior, that I hadn't previously. To be honest, at it's most basic, I wasn't even aware that kangaroo were slaughtered for things such as leather to begin with, let alone that so many are slaughtered. I probably wouldn't have even imagined that there were 400,000 kangaroo in existence. So yes, you definitely gave me a lot to contemplate and explore here.
