What great lines, in terms of feel (with that powerful momentary pause adding emphasis), language, and the expressing of a confounding destruction. A burn despite a lack of oxygen. There's a feeling of tragic acceptance there, coincidencing with a near timeless history. Very powerful. All around strong feeling throughout this one, and one I imagine that more than a few of us can relate to, but that verse is on it's own level in terms of how well it's written and how much it hits the heart.
