A charming and inspiring: A charming and inspiring Spring journey that can also be a commentary on hope. Scribed with spare and inviting eloquence, this left me feeling a much lighter and a little less cynical. A much-needed dose of happiness.
"A rumor of peace reached: "A rumor of peace reached Seattle and they/ gentrified it." Too funny, and painfully spot on.
There are a few Peace sightings now and then, but wider events can leave us demoralized. You did a fabulous job satirizing this daily plummet into cynicism. We need a release valve such as your piercing, undaunted, devastating wit. How else can we deal with a farcical level of tragedy?
Timely and crucial humor.
What a precise and dazzling: What a precise and dazzling reflection on the craft! My deepest gratitude for your time and valuable insights. Means so much.
Thank you for adding your: Thank you for adding your knowledge and insights to my work. Your poetry already takes flight. No need for a legendary craftsman. You've touched the sun!

Somewhere in every classical: Somewhere in every classical poet's past is an Icarian melody. I am glad to have found one in your coterie of poetry. Of late I have been contemplating my being remiss about the Daedalean side of things. Perhaps one day, that too shall take wing. Thanks for having shared this gem and keeping it in circulation.
To me there is no old poetry,: To me there is no old poetry, they are merely, shall we say, in another dimension or plane of experience (which we call Time) - there must be a 4th dimension quality to poems, its universality and its relevance. For some poems, we shall never have a face to face acquaintance with their creators, however big their names are/were. I am only glad that in the reading of this I was able to delve into the recesses of its thought and origin. Again, thank you, M. Patricia.
The comment below was sent: The comment below was sent from my old site (patriciajones). I noticed that I didn't reply to many of your very kind and encouraging comments on my work. So sorry! Things were crazy around that time. Hope everthing's going well for you. I enjoyed reading this victorious, faith-filled poem again. God bless.
