"A rumor of peace reached Seattle and they/ gentrified it." Too funny, and painfully spot on. 

 

 There are a few Peace sightings now and then, but wider events can leave us demoralized. You did a fabulous job satirizing this daily plummet into cynicism. We need a release valve such as your piercing, undaunted, devastating wit. How else can we deal with a farcical level of tragedy? 

 

Timely and crucial humor.
