I like that, the pieces fit: I like that, the pieces fit but the picture doesn't make sense. Too much on the brain, the plate, the line... its okay to be on overload that's all the overlords seem to give us!

Logged on to find Not 1 but 3: Logged on to find Not 1 but 3 poems to delight in! Thos is the first of the three and what a magnificent rhapsody! The sensitivity of the descriptions and the amazing use of a cutting line "I knew what peace was...I knew what joy might be..." wow! Just so wow! "The mist was holier than sorrow..." that was sincerely the most beautiful line I've read in the last 3 years! From a moon splash to a universe splash sometimes the journey must needs before we can truly understand the nature of existence and ourselves. If only everyone's journey to self discovery was as graceful and elegant as of was hortifyingly beautiful then wed probably ascend a whole lot more especially if we allknew what we really areand then so much more! Gorgeous write! Some astoundingly excellent lines. Much enjoyed. Hugss

The wisdom in this poem as: The wisdom in this poem as well as being profound is also awesome!!!  In my present state of health (although I think this state is reverting back to a territory, and then to a wilderness, lol), I have experienced several failed sunrises, metaphorically and metaphysically.  But the streaking moombeams of my past, now that I understand it better (after three years to contemplate it), are always ready to fill in for the failed sunrises until that situation is remedied.  I thank you very much for posting this excellent metaphorical . . . and metaphysical . . . poem.

Starward commented on: Idea From My Masonic Experience That I Would Like To Propose, With Some Variation, To PostPoems' Poets by J-C4113d 1 year 13 weeks ago
Fortunately, PostPoems': Fortunately, PostPoems' archives preserve so many of those neglected Poets' poems, so there are plenty to go around.  And thanks for the comment and the validation---coming from you, that means a whole lot to me.

Poetry is quite a significant: Poetry is quite a significant Burning Bush to more than I am able to recognise, so here I plant a moment's salute to such a validation. We can but be true to the calling of yon Muse.

That is an ongoing personal: That is an ongoing personal project to which I am much obligated to but have not been able to fulfill in force as yet. But we shall get there, opportunity permitting. Thank you for sharing.

From dance to music to: From dance to music to poetry, these are connections to cherish and explore further on. This much appreciated feedback brings to mind the capacity of lines of verse to transform into a journey of language and beyond should we so dispose ourselves. Thank you most kindly.

I like your perspective quite: I like your perspective quite a bit.  Genesis, John's Gospel and the anonymous Epistle to the Hebrews all declare that the Cosmos was created by the Word of God.

Thank you.  As a kid, I used: Thank you.  As a kid, I used to dream of writing science fiction, but was intimidated by length . . . even the length of a short story.  I just couldn't sustain it.  I think that was my inclination to Poetry making an early appearance before I even realized what it was.  Maybe this poem was beginning to form even then (lol).  Thanks again for the comment.

Wow! You did it! By shrewdly: Wow! You did it! By shrewdly skipping to the aftermath, and with an accomplished agility that lives up to the form, you fit an epic into a capsule.   Many great writers have created protracted stories around this dystopian theme, but all you had to do was take an applause-worthy snippet of conversation and turn it, gracefully, into a thriller. I do love the suggestion of a great chasm, perhaps ideological or cultural, but certainly of distance, between the worlds that have converged.   Emphasizing "the" at the end spoke volumes as well.   A stunning maneuver. Take a bow, fine Poet!

You mention Buddy Ebsen loved..: You mentioned Buddy Ebsen loved to portray Jed Clampett. Since he took the job of acting seriously, he would really want to get into the character he was portraying. He needed to be Jed Clampett. In order to achieve that he would need to eat what Jed Clampett would. Here are the 20 dishes Buddy Ebsen ate during the run of The Beverly Hillbillies. You may turn your nose up at them, but he did live to 95. Maybe this diet had something to do with it? https://www.metv.com/quiz/the-meals-of-the-beverly-hillbillies-ranked-in-order-of-edibility
