Oasis
Another losers trail has come to pass
my time is not as valuable as it once was
my dead horse is flogged to bare bone.
i can't see the end of this hostile country
I don't want to roam far.
the mirage won't sell me it's vision
and momentum lags behind.
I ve given all I can and still there's a call for more blood
i can't spare another drop
I won't spill.
i ll wait under this rock
one day the rain will come
and I'll float the fuck away from this rot.
I searched for an oasis in
I searched for an oasis in Death Valley a couple of weeks ago. I am trying to find the words to tell my story. The trip was quite an adventure. Never found it. But I believe I was close.
