What I want you to know about me...

The time has come to post my poems, after years of keeping them private. Some old, some new, but this is where I think they should be saved. I'm not a prolific writer, but occasionally the mood strikes me. I'm not interested in contests or competitions, just in sharing with like-minded people.

I'm a bit of a loner and recluse, so no websites to share.. : (

Favorite Stuff (poets, poems, quotes, hobbies, etc.)

Some favorite poets that have influenced me since I was in high school:
Shakespeare (of course), Dickinson, Poe, Cummings, Frost, Blake, and many more, including Ruben Dario, a Spanish-language poet not as well known but very influential in Latin-American poetry.
My early poetry was an attempt to capture the romanticism of the classic 18th and 19th century. I've tried to move past that when I can.
In the real world, I'm a techy and love all things sci-fi, but only the best sci-fi makes it to my CD collection. : )
