That's truth there it is
Plain and simple green eyed rants
And Hollywood bullshit
We're building a dream home
They just just want to turn it into a night mare!
Well we're doing it baby and were doing it fine!
I know it's a bit dicey and the jealousy's icy
But this is a rise against the odds
The citadel of our hearts
Our family hub
The life we lost pandering to thier needs
And issues of inequity are now being addressed
In the dressing of our castle In the air
stilts of sheer determination rising up
And ploughing through fear!
3 jobs each and helping out others with hardly time to spare
Don't look for favours where they were given God
Has planned them to come form else where
So we are an obligation and every other wasn't;
Last in line, but ,first to cross it!
I look forward to our future with hurts erased
And with good cheer and great memories be replaced!
I'll hang the garlic up, you feed the lions
The kids will paint the 'keep the fuck out' sign ;D
