wistful sonnets

Soul mates

oh the lover sits by his window sill
looking out over the rain soaked earth
she leans her cheek on the glass looking out
watching the same storm, wishing the same thing
connected by the cover of a storm
in thier raging hearts, remembering when
they were closer then, before it all went
never so alive never felt so well
he still recalls the warm burn of her touch
traces of innocence across his skin
She still remembers the lingering heat
of a cunning slight of hand brush softly
two aching hearts wisfully longing love
two aching hearts unaware of the above.
