even though I always am
I won't always be there.
I will not be your damsel
search the sunset for my knight
I think that's all pathetic
besides you'd never do it right.
I will not write you love notes
sweet sonnet's of devotion
I might as well be dead to you
I won't show my emotions.
I will not givwe up everything
just like I always do
to see you take it all for granted
twisting the things I felt for you.
Just because i'm writing this
doesn't mean that it's not true
I do so hate love poems
almost as much as I loved you.
Wow......You have a lot of poems. I only had time to read this one, so it kinda set your standard in my mind. Nice job bye the way. You have a poem here that is hard to find on this site. Most people just write and really don't write much of anything because there emotions get to involved. You withdrew, which Poe would say is a good thing. My friend has alot of poems like you. I am passionate about poetry but have not written that much. keep up the good work, maybe you'll go somewhere!

I have to be straight with you, I went to your love poems folder first but (though I did not read them all) I didn't really find a true love poem there. Now this poem is the most honest of the ones I've read. Nice twist nice rhyme
very good...your love poems are a lot like mine perhaps filled with expected hurt. I wish for you a love in your life that will set your pen free.
