Essences Of Love

................

Rush not into the fires of passion,

Merely let them be, and embrace each moment.

Connect each glance and savor each breath,

Stretch every smile, even honor its death,

Embracing the fullness of each minute that passes,

Opening each cranny as it fits into life's passages,

Sharing the essence of what we're made of,

For passion is fleeting but this sharing is love....

Thank you Carl. Truly, for myself, as I am sure it is with you, this 'talent' I speak of I have really little to do with...and since my first poem, it's always been that way. The words that come out the easiest, most often come seemingly without any struggle at all. I so appreciate you as an artist. Thank you again for sharing nd for commenting. <3
